چکیده
In this paper, we propose an energy-aware routing algorithm and a control overhead reduction technique for prolonging the network lifetime of software-defined multihop wireless sensor networks (SDWSNs). This is effort to optimize energy consumption WSNs that provide services Industrial Internet Things (IIoT). A centralized controller grants global view by introducing extra in network, but leads costs. However, our new takes advantage balances selecting paths with highest remaining level among multiple each node. We also identify key functions draining from SDWSN minimize their impact implementing data packet aggregation function, minimizing keeping track nodes' tables using simple checksum function. show proposed approach prolongs WSN 6.5% on average compared standard shortest-path algorithm, reduced approximately 12% while still maintaining very high delivery ratio.

Energy-efficient Traffic-aware Multihop Routing for Wireless Sensor Networks
Since link failures and packet losses are inevitable, ad hoc wireless sensor networks may tolerate a certain level of reliability without significantly affecting packets delivery performance and data aggregation accuracy in favor of efficient energy consumption. An efficient hybrid approach is to make trade-offs between energy, reliability, cost, and agility while improving packet delivery, mai...

In wireless sensor networks, optimal consumptionof energy and having maximum life time are important factors. In this article attempt has been made to send the data packets with particular reliability from the beginning based on AODV protocol. In this way two new fields add to the routing packets and during routing and discovering of new routes, the lowest remained energy of nodes and route tra...
متن کاملTraffic-oblivious Energy-aware Routing for Multihop Wireless Networks
Abstract— Energy efficiency is an important issue in multihop wireless networks with energy concerns. Usually it is achieved with accurate knowledge of the traffic pattern and/or the current network information such as load and remaining energy level (in an energy constrained case). However, accurate estimation of the traffic pattern is hard to obtain. Transmission interference and lossy links ...
متن کاملA JOINT DUTY CYCLE SCHEDULING AND ENERGY AWARE ROUTING APPROACH BASED ON EVOLUTIONARY GAME FOR WIRELESS SENSOR NETWORKS
Network throughput and energy conservation are two conflicting important performance metrics for wireless sensor networks. Since these two objectives are in conflict with each other, it is difficult to achieve them simultaneously. In this paper, a joint duty cycle scheduling and energy aware routing approach is proposed based on evolutionary game theory which is called DREG. Making a trade-off ...
